Icy blue eyes and a show stopping smile,

You caught my eye with just a subtle tap of your finger.

No words flowed from your thin lips,

But a song of pure innocence sang from you.

A lonely specimen of this chaotic earth,

Perhaps that is what drew me to you,

The mutual suspicion that no one in this world wants to discover us.

Or maybe it was the way that you carried yourself,

An aura of sophistication,

But arrogance was absent from your being.

In the scheme of everything it doesn't matter,

What escorted you into my vacant life.

But the fine detail that you comprehend desolation just as well as I do.

And expressing this in collaboration,

Is far more beautiful than suffering alone.
