And she knew that she loved him more as she laid next to him in the dim light. She loved him more than her favorite book, more than her favorite song lyrics that she danced around to in her bedroom. She would choose him over anyone in any of the continents, because at the end of the day he was worth every conflict, every disagreement, every setback that injected itself into their lives. Because he was her person, the one that she could count on every second of everyday and lay her head on to sleep at night. And at the end of the day he would be there waiting for her, and if that wasn’t worth living for the rest of her life, then my god, what is love in the first place?
