“It’s like I’m trapped inside of my own body,” she says in between sobs. He found her laying on the bedroom floor, a couple feet away from the bed. The steady rocking motion began to subside the tightness that was formed inside of her chest. “What if this never gets better?” and after her question, they both sat in silence. “Even if this never goes away, you’ll never have to suffer through it alone,” and he stroked her hair until her heartbeat returned to its normal state and the tears stopped streaming from her cheeks. And for once she felt all of her broken pieces finally start to melt back together again.
